So I have an official request from a long-distance friend that I blog more. I often have ideas of little things to drop onto the blog but then think twice because they seem silly and inconsequential. But Jill's comment suggests that perhaps even silly and inconsequential is better than nothing, and so if for no one else but Jill I will start writing more often. I can't promise long, complex narratives, but at the very least I'll put up a few words about something that made me laugh that day. For example...
Recently Eleanor and I were having an argument about bath time. I don't remember if I was trying to talk her into taking a bath, or if she was trying to talk me into giving her one, but her final parry was a demand to "smell my armpit!" I declined, but had to respect a four-year-old girl with such advanced skills of persuasion. Debate team, here she comes.
Yes, Eleanor will win many an argument if she can always stand on "Smell my armpit."
And w00t to caving to my peer pressure! These posts do make you seem less far away. Just a hair, but still.

Thanks Jill!! I came to catch up, and couldn't believe how much I'd missed. Love it!
